An even cover of slurry

Hydroseeding applies a slurry to a prepared area of topsoil. The slurry is a mixture of water, seed, fertiliser, wetting agent, green dye and mulch. A high pressure pump system sprays the slurry evenly through 100 to 200 feet of hose.

Hydroseeding is an alternative to the traditional process of growing or laying grass. It promotes quick germination and inhibits soil erosion.

A clever technique for large areas

By mixing the Endurance Blend seeds with mulch, it keeps the seeds suspended in nutrient rich moisture which triggers the germination cycle and promotes a deep and sturdy root system. When conditions are right, a lush green lawn is produced in a very short time. Hydroseeding is most effective in Spring, Autumn and early Summer but can be done all year round.
